Do yourself a favor and start celebrating Sukkot this year – even if you don’t fully understand it. Believe me, it will change your whole view of what the Bible says and, more importantly, what God says.
Two years ago I decided to honor the feast of Sukkot by camping out in my back yard. I didn’t know why God would ask His children to do such a thing. I set up a tent in my back yard and went to sleep outside. It took less than five minutes for God to pump so much insight into my being that I started to feel as if I were nothing more than a shell for Him to fill. I thought of things I never thought of before while I laid in that tent. Each night built upon the next and, by the time it was over, I was sad that it had to end. But I instantly looked forward to the next year.
This world offers fool’s gold. God offers true treasure that cannot be expressed in words. Sukkot will not only blow your socks off, it will revolutionize your belief. You will transcend time and space. We become our ancestors and their story pierces our soul.
I didn’t tell many folks I was celebrating Sukkot that first time – I didn’t need to. Nor does anyone else. Do it for yourself and feel the presence of the Most High. You will never want to not celebrate Sukkot ever again. Praise God!

That one is definitely t-shirtable.
Will you build one this year or just do the tent thing?
The tent. I’m still in the baby stages myself so I’m learning how it’s all done. One year soon I’d like to build the enclosure and have the table in it and everything. That would be good.
I like learning new stuff when I visit this site. Thanks, man.
Thanks for visiting!
I was going to celebrate it but like the guy in the tent I got cold feet hee hee…
Ha! Good one.
I must admit I’ve never heard of Sukkot either.
It’s an interesting celebration. Basically it’s a feast where you go camping for a week. It’s a lot of fun.
Learned new thing today
Want to give it a try~
It’s coming up October 13th. Give it a try!

I’ve been thinking about it. My sister wants to visit too. And “Ah Mazing” does sound like a good thing.
