   I didn’t know that about aphids. I wonder if that gives them a complex??? Maybe he needed lots in case the ladybeetles ate them

     I always wondered if Noah had to supply meat for the carnivorous animals. I know he took seven of every clean animal. Maybe that was part of the plan.

   Actually, most aphids are female. When environmental conditions are right, they reproduce rapidly asexually (parthenogenesis). There are male aphids, and there are time when they mate with females and sexual reproduction occurs.

     It seems like male aphids are the pets of female aphids.
