E-readers and iPads and such are neat gadgets. But I would rather have a Torah scroll any day of the week (preferably Saturday). But the iPad is much cheaper… much, much cheaper. I hear that Torah scrolls go for thousands of dollars. Still, if anyone out there has the money, my birthday is coming up in December (hint, hint).

Couldn’t they have an app where you could unroll the scroll on your iPad? Not as good as a real Torah, but it would be neat. And then they could have a translation of it, too.
